Why we started Simfuni

The insurance premium payment process is outdated compared to modern payment systems in other categories. Many distributors and administrators still rely on outdated 'horsepower' methods rather than modern 'electric power' solutions. This reliance on inefficient processes costs them time and leads to significant potential revenue loss. From manual handling of billing, premium funding applications and payment collections to labour-intensive reconciliations, reminders and renewals. All of this can be streamlined with a simple, integrated digital platform. Automation of back-end tasks saves time and allows more focus to be put into top-line growth. We created Simfuni because we know that simplicity pays.

We’re a team of digital payments experts that have built some of the largest and fastest-growing e-commerce and lending platforms across Australia, New Zealand and the USA. Our experience spans both the private and publicly listed sectors. We’re passionate about improving payments systems to improve the outcomes for more people.

He is a seasoned financial services entrepreneur with expertise in building and scaling regulated and unregulated solutions for enterprise and early-stage startups. Shaun has a passion for unlocking revenue with seamless customer experiences.
