Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all projects are completed to a high level of quality.
- Supporting the software development life cycle.

- Knowledge of micro-service and cloud deployment patterns (including Infrastructure as code).
- Experience with APIs, publishing, versioning and maintaining multiple APIs.
- Understanding of structured and unstructured database design.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of insurance, e-commerce and payments technology is a plus but not required.

You'll play a vital role in transforming high fidelity designs into polished, production ready React interfaces across our core web applications. collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to bring intuitive, delightful, and performant user experiences to life, while also integrating the frontend into our back-end applications.

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong insurance domain expertise to help shape, refine, and support the ongoing development of the Simfuni platform. You’ll play a key role in understanding business needs, analysing complex processes, and translating them into clear, structured requirements that guide product and engineering teams.
This role sits at the intersection of product, operations, and technology. You’ll work closely with our Product Team to define how features should function, how data should flow, and how customer and policy journeys should be modelled. You’ll help ensure that what we design is practical, scalable, and grounded in real insurance workflows.
The role suits someone with solid BA skills, strong attention to detail, and deep familiarity with life insurance or financial services operations. If you enjoy untangling complexity, clarifying requirements, and contributing to the design of a modern insurance platform, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Analyse insurance processes, business rules, and customer journeys to inform product design
- Translate business and user needs into clear requirements, user stories, and documentation
- Support the Senior Technical Solutions Lead in defining feature behaviour, configurations, and data structures
- Map current and future-state processes, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for simplification
- Work closely with engineers to answer questions, refine acceptance criteria, and ensure requirements are well understood
- Help shape integration requirements and data exchange behaviours with third-party systems
- Assist in backlog grooming, scope definition, and release planning
- Contribute to internal knowledge management, domain documentation, and modelling standards
- Provide product expertise in customer discussions, discovery sessions, and implementation conversations where needed
Qualifications/Skills
- 5–7+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in SaaS, platforms, or financial services
- Insurance experience is essential - ideally life insurance, policy administration, or operational workflows
- Comfortable working with technical teams on data flows, APIs, and system logic
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills, able to simplify complex processes and rules
- Experience writing user stories, mapping processes, and producing BA artefacts (e.g., requirements docs, diagrams, specifications)
- Familiarity with configurable systems, workflow-driven products, or operational platforms
- Confident running workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with stakeholders
- Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
