Why we started Simfuni
The insurance buying experience often falls short of modern customer expectations, while managing policyholders feels like a juggling act across disconnected systems. Many distributors, advisers, and administrators still rely on outdated, manual processes that create friction and inefficiencies. These inefficiencies waste time, risk revenue, and create barriers for businesses to grow and for customers to buy and remain loyal.

With over 17 years of experience working in payments across the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand, Shaun has built and led high-growth payment companies from startups to publicly listed organisations. He is a seasoned financial services entrepreneur with expertise in building and scaling regulated and unregulated solutions for enterprise and early-stage startups. Shaun has a passion for unlocking revenue with seamless customer experiences.
With over 17 years of experience working in payments across the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand, Shaun has built and led high-growth payment companies from startups to publicly listed organisations. Previously working in startup and enterprise organisations, he brings a wealth of experience in software design, architecture, development and compliance. With an exciting view of technology, and a passion for how it can solve real world problems.
